Day 2
This was a day!  I hope that more days like this do not come around while I finish my next 13 years of teaching.  We had 2 students miss a call time and were missing in action for a couple of hours, 2 students slept through breakfast and missed our trip to the Arch De Triomphe, we had to cancel the Jazz II performance at the Luxembourg Gardens, and one student hurt her back while carrying a piano!  But it was a great day!  We found the 2 kids, we woke up the 2 that were sleeping,  Jazz I did a great great job at the Gardens, and we all made it to and from the Eiffel Tower.  Whew!!  We are headed off to Lyon for a jazz performance with Jazz II at the Lyon City Band Shell.  We are expecting a great crowd.  Jazz I will share a concert with the "Jazz Band of the West" of the City of Lyon.  It is billed as the "Battle of the Bands."  It was great to meet up with all the parents this evening at the Eiffel Tower. The students have been very tired these past two days. We will have the students post starting tomorrow evening after the Lyon Concert.  All is well.  They are having a great time (p.s. please send money)!
